I really enjoyed the Skype session we had today with the 5th Graders. It was nice to have a more intimate connection with them rather than just using Edmodo. A lot of their comments were very impressive and it was nice to see the enthusiasm that expressed. It's really cool to see technology used in a constructional and educational way. As technology improves, it's exciting to imagine what else will become possible. Teaching outside of the classroom is definitely becoming a probable reality.

I really like Mr. Daccord's comment. When I first thought of how to use Skype in a Social Studies class, I thought of using it internationally. This actually really excites me!
